Property
Sources of vegetable protein do not contain cholesterol and are characterized by very low levels of saturated fat: the best known and widely used is soy, which is potentially allergenic and also rich in phytoestrogens (which can reach high levels when used as the main source of protein). Rice grains contain approximately 7% protein, which is extracted by wet milling to facilitate the separation of starch and other macronutrients present. According to FAO data, these are the cereal proteins with the highest biological value, which means that they are characterized by a high tendency to be assimilated and transformed by the body. The high protein content (85%) makes the raw material used comparable to soy and whey in terms of amino acid composition and concentration of essential amino acids, and distinguishes it from the former in terms of nutritional value and lack of allergenic properties. These characteristics are also found in proteins extracted from peas . They boast a high and balanced content of essential branched-chain amino acids such as leucine, isoleucine and valine, offering effective and proven muscle-building properties comparable to those of whey proteins. They complete the amino acid profile of the product with a high content of lysine, an amino acid that is missing from rice proteins. The combination of these two protein sources ensures the absorption of a sufficient daily amount of essential amino acids and a balanced composition of certain micronutrients. Peas are also a valuable source of minerals (magnesium, calcium, iron and zinc) and B vitamins . Panmol Vitamin D is a quinoa germ powder rich in biologically active vitamin D3, obtained through a sophisticated, innovative and patented production process, which ensures high bioavailability and a wide range of optimal functions. It regulates protein synthesis and is essential for the development and maintenance of proper muscle function. Recent studies show significant improvements in muscle strength in athletes after vitamin D3 supplementation. It also plays a key role in regulating calcium homeostasis in combination with parathyroid hormone, which is necessary for the development and maintenance of strong bones. B vitamins are essential for feeling well and energetic, as they act as cofactors in the metabolism of all macronutrients (especially protein and glycogen). They regulate the synthesis and activity of steroid hormones, vitamin D and certain neurotransmitters, with direct effects on psychological function, mental performance and physiological activity of the nervous system. They are involved in the regulation of cell division, especially in the formation of red blood cells, which consequently reduces fatigue. Spirulina is a freshwater blue-green algae with a high concentration of nutrients, making it an ideal food for people of all ages and lifestyles. Its restorative power comes from the high concentration of vitamins (especially A, B, beta-carotene, D, K and E), minerals (iron, potassium, magnesium, selenium and calcium) and a significant protein content (60-70 g/100 g) with amino acids with high bioavailability. In particular, it provides the amino acid phenylalanine, which helps control hunger. Unlike other seaweeds, it does not contain significant amounts of salt and iodine and instead contains small amounts of bicarbonates, which are useful for restoring the acid-base balance of tissues. Beetroot is considered one of the vegetables with the highest antioxidant and anti-free radical activity, demonstrated in particular by betaines and other phenolic compounds. They enhance cellular protection against free radical damage, having the potential to protect against the development of numerous chronic degenerative diseases affecting the nervous system (e.g. Alzheimer's and Parkinson's) or the circulatory system (atherosclerosis), where they can reduce circulating oxidized LDL and improve vascular function. Beetroot is a valuable source of biologically active substances, minerals (potassium, sodium, phosphorus, calcium and magnesium) and vitamins.
