Description
UTI Free, 14 envelopes, Meditrina
It is a dietary supplement, gluten and lactose free, containing L-methionine, L-ascorbic acid, D-mannose and calcium citrate, intended for the relief of urinary tract infections.
- L-methionine - acidifies urine (pH 5.0 - 5.5) and acts as an inhibitor in the development of most bacteria. A single dose of 1.5g of L-methionine causes a significant acidification of the urine for at least 8 hours
- L-methionine + L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) have a bactericidal effect: it stimulates the transformation of nitrites in the urine into nitric acid, a powerful bactericide that acts on many of the bacteria that cause urinary infections
- L-ascorbic acid enhances the bactericidal action of nitrites
- D-mannose - Inhibits the adhesion of bacteria and can help to remove pathogens from the epithelium of the urinary tract
- Calcium citrate helps stop systemic acidification: Calcium citrate is an alkalinizer that balances systemic acidity caused by L-methionine without affecting urine acidity.
Way of ussage:
- The contents of one sachet dissolve in water, fruit juice or milk
- Consume 1 sachet/day.
Ingredients:
Each sachet of UTI-Free contains 1.5 g L-methionine, 1 g L-ascorbic acid, 1.5 g D-mannose, 15 mEq Calcium Citrate.

- UTI-Free is a food supplement and should not replace a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle
- Do not exceed recommended dose for daily consumption
- Keep out of the reach and sight of small children
- Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have health problems
- Store at room temperature (15-30⁰ C), in a place away from moisture, heat sources or direct exposure to the sun
- Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the outer packaging.
