Vanilla beans have been shown to contain over 200 compounds, which can vary in concentration depending on the region from which they are harvested. Several compounds, including vanillin, p-hydroxybenzaldehyde, guaiacol, and aniseed alcohol, have been shown to be important to the aroma profile of vanilla.

- Works as an antidepressant - Vanilla has been used to combat anxiety and depression.

- Fights infections - Some components present in vanilla oil, such as eugenol and vanillin hydroxybenzaldehyde, are able to fight infections.
Mode of use:
MASSAGE:
- 3-5 drops per 50 ml vegetable oil
- acts as a pheromone, favoring the release of serotonin
- calms skin inflammations
AROMATHERAPY: induces a positive mood, a state of joy and confidence
