I am thrilled with the blood pressure monitor I purchased. It seems to be quite accurate, but I can't say this until I compare it with a standard one. To be a bit facetious, it seems to me that the "signaling" of the cuff being fitted incorrectly is extra, and not doing its job. I intentionally fitted it wrong and the tension gauge showed me that the cuff is fitted correctly. Personally I consider it to be one of the safest devices as it uses the dual method of measurement, oscillometric and audible. In theory.
