Coughend is a pharmaceutical product that may be indicated for all types of cough (productive, dry and irritating, residual cough or whooping cough) in adults and children.
Forms of release
Coughend syrup is available in two variants:
- Coughend syrup with sugar, 100 ml
- Coughend syrup without sugar, 100 ml
It contains natural extracts of Pistacia integerrima, Adhatoda vasica, Piper longum, Cyperus rotundus, Ocimum sanctum, Glycyrrhiza glabra, ginger, Abies webbiana, Solanum xanthocarpum, cinnamon, Viola odorata, Sarcostemma brevistigma, Mentha piperita and camphor.
Indications for use
Coughend syrup helps maintain the health of the respiratory system, reduces all forms of cough and associated effects, loosens bronchial secretions and helps eliminate them. It also helps to decongest the airways and facilitates the breathing process. It has an emollient and lubricating action, reduces irritation and dryness in the throat and bronchi, and maintains the body's natural ability to adapt to environmental conditions. It can also be used preventively during the cold season to protect the body.
Dosage and administration
The recommended doses of Coughend syrup vary according to age. For children between 1 and 3 years of age, ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) twice a day is recommended, and for children over 3 years of age, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) twice a day. The recommended dose for adults is 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 ml) 2-3 times a day.
It should be taken half an hour before meals or one hour after meals. Coughend syrup can be taken throughout the cold season to protect the body.
Contraindications
There are also some contraindications for Coughend syrup. The product is contraindicated in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
