Idroflog

Idroflog is available as an ophthalmic solution in a pack containing 15 vials of 0.5 ml each.

Each vial is sealed and administered by instillation into the conjunctival sac using a sterile applicator.

Idroflog eye drops are recommended for patients suffering from dry eye syndrome, a condition characterised by insufficient tear secretion, leading to dryness and irritation of the ocular surface.

It is also useful in protecting the corneal surface in cases of tear hyposecretion, playing an important role in the prevention and treatment of irritation or inflammation caused by various external conditions.

Thanks to its sodium hydrocortisone phosphate content, Idroflog helps prevent the recurrence of inflammatory phenomena, especially in cases of corneal epithelial damage.

The dose of Idroflog should be adjusted according to the ophthalmologist's recommendations.

In general, it is recommended to instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye, 2-4 times a day. It is essential that treatment be supervised by a doctor to avoid possible complications or adverse reactions.

Idroflog eye drops without a prescription are not recommended for patients who are sensitive or allergic to any of its ingredients.

This product is also not recommended for use in cases of active eye infections or severe corneal conditions that require specific treatment.

Idroflog should only be used externally, and its use should be limited in time and under the strict supervision of a doctor.

Due to its viscoelastic properties, the solution may cause slight blurred vision immediately after instillation, so it is recommended to avoid activities that require clear vision, such as driving or using machinery, until the effect has completely worn off.

Possible side effects include a temporary burning sensation or discomfort in the eye immediately after instillation, which usually disappears within a few seconds.

Some people may also experience slight blurred vision due to the viscosity of the solution.

In rare cases, an allergic reaction to the product's ingredients may occur.

Idroflog does not have any significant interactions with other medicines or food, but to avoid any risk of interaction, it is recommended that the patient inform their doctor about any concomitant eye treatment.

It is important that, if the patient is using other ophthalmic solutions, they wait at least 20 minutes between their administration and the application of Idroflog to prevent any interactions.

Although there are no signs of overdose associated with the use of this product, excessive administration of the solution may cause temporary eye discomfort.

In case of accidental overdose, it is recommended that the patient consult a doctor immediately.

Idroflog should be stored in a dry, cool place, away from direct light and heat sources. The recommended storage temperature is below 25°C. The product should be kept out of the reach of children, and each bottle should be used immediately after opening the package.
