Lactofem Forte comes in the form of sachets containing soluble powder, flavoured with a delicate caramel or banana taste, easy to prepare and administer. This form of presentation allows for precise dosing and rapid absorption of nutrients.

Lactofem Forte is intended as a dietary supplement for breastfeeding women to support the production of high-quality breast milk rich in essential nutrients. The product is particularly recommended:

• in the period immediately after childbirth, when nutritional requirements are increased;
• in cases of chronic fatigue associated with the physiological stress of lactation;
• to support the nervous system and psycho-emotional state;
• to maintain healthy skin, hair and mucous membranes;
• to naturally stimulate lactation and improve the nutritional value of breast milk.

Lactofem contains barley malt extract enriched with barley beta-glucan, Melissa officinalis and a complex of essential vitamins, such as B vitamins (including thiamine, biotin, folic acid) and vitamin D3.

The usual recommended dose is 1-2 sachets per day, dissolved in water, milk or another suitable liquid, preferably during or after a meal to facilitate the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins and other nutrients.

The dosage regimen may be adjusted individually, according to the recommendation of a doctor or pharmacist, especially in cases of increased nutritional requirements or documented deficiencies.

Lactofem Forte is contraindicated in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of the product's ingredients.

It is not recommended for use in people with intolerance to barley or other cereals containing gluten, as the main ingredient is barley malt extract.

It is important to note that the effectiveness of Lactofem also depends on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including adequate hydration, rest and a proper diet.

The product contains Melissa officinalis extract, known for its calming and anxiety-reducing properties, which can have a positive effect on the general condition of the mother during the postpartum period.

Lactofem Forte is generally well tolerated due to its natural composition. However, in rare cases, mild side effects may occur, such as: gastrointestinal discomfort (bloating, mild nausea), allergic reactions (skin rash, itching), drowsiness (due to the calming effect of lemon balm).

If persistent or severe side effects occur, stop taking the product and consult a doctor.

Known interactions are minimal, but it is recommended to avoid combining it with strong sedatives due to the cumulative relaxing effect of Melissa officinalis.

Also, excessive consumption of alcohol or caffeine may counteract some of the benefits of the product, especially those related to stress and fatigue reduction.

Since Lactofem Forte is a dietary supplement and not a medicine, the risk of overdose is low. However, taking a higher dose than recommended may lead to hypervitaminosis (especially with vitamin D) or digestive disorders (such as diarrhoea or abdominal cramps).

The product should be stored at temperatures below 25°C, in a dry place, away from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach and sight of small children. After opening the package, it is recommended to use the contents of the sachet immediately to prevent contamination or degradation of the active ingredients.
