Neurovet

Neurovet Stangest is available as oral tablets, packaged in bottles of various sizes to facilitate use according to therapeutic needs (60 or 300 tablets).

The tablet formulation allows for easy administration and ensures the stability of the active ingredients, with each tablet containing a balanced combination of amino acids, vitamins and nutrients with neuroprotective properties.

Neurovet is indicated as a nutritional supplement for dogs and cats with neurological disorders or at risk of neurological dysfunction. Its administration is particularly recommended in the following situations:

• polyneuropathies of various aetiologies;
• neurological disorders associated with the ageing process;
• cognitive decline in senior animals;
• adjuvant treatment for epilepsy;
• support of neuronal function during periods of metabolic stress or illness.

Neurovet is administered orally, according to the animal’s body weight. The recommended standard dose is: 1 tablet twice daily for every 10 kg of body weight.

Where the product is used for antioxidant support or prevention, the dose may be halved, as recommended by the vet.

The tablets can be administered directly into the mouth or mixed with the animal’s food to facilitate ingestion. 

Neurovet for dogs and cats is intended exclusively for veterinary use and is not recommended for human consumption.

Administration of the product should be avoided in animals with known hypersensitivity or intolerance to any of its ingredients. Before use or prolongation of treatment, consultation with a veterinary surgeon is recommended, particularly in animals with chronic conditions or those undergoing medical treatment.

The use of nutritional supplements for the nervous system should be integrated into a broader treatment plan, tailored to the animal’s condition. Neurovet does not replace specific medical treatment, but can be a valuable adjunct in neurological therapy.

Its ingredients act through complementary mechanisms:

• supporting neuronal metabolism;
• facilitating neurotransmitter synthesis;
• protection against oxidative stress;
• maintaining the integrity of neuronal membranes.

In general, Neurovet for cats and dogs is well tolerated by most animals when administered as recommended.

In rare cases, mild digestive disturbances, such as loss of appetite or gastrointestinal discomfort, may occur, particularly in sensitive animals. If persistent or unusual side effects occur, administration should be discontinued and consultation with a vet is recommended.

To date, no significant interactions have been reported between Neurovet and other medicines or dietary supplements used in veterinary medicine.

However, as the product contains amino acids and vitamins involved in neuronal metabolism, caution is advised when administered concomitantly with specific neurological therapies, such as anticonvulsant medicines. Assessment of therapeutic compatibility should be carried out by the veterinarian.

There are no data to suggest the occurrence of severe toxic effects in the event of accidental overdose. However, administration of excessive doses may cause minor digestive or metabolic disturbances.

If a significantly higher dose than recommended is ingested, it is advisable to monitor the animal and seek advice from a veterinarian.

To maintain the stability and efficacy of the active ingredients, the product must be stored under appropriate conditions.

Neurovet must be kept in a dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight, at temperatures not exceeding 25°C. The container must be kept tightly closed after each use to prevent the contents from deteriorating.

The product must also be kept out of the reach of children and animals.
