Swedish Bitter is available on the market in several variants:

Swedish Bitter contains a combination of aromatic plants with medicinal properties in various forms, from herbs and roots to seeds, flowers and bark. The main ingredients are usually extracts of dandelion, gentian, wormwood, burdock, angelica, horseradish, sage, mint, chamomile, valerian, fennel, ginger, hot pepper, turmeric, etc. There is also an alcohol-free version of Swedish bitters.

Swedish bitters are a product with multiple therapeutic indications, offering benefits for overall health and well-being. They are recommended for dizziness and pain, eye problems, gastrointestinal cramps and discomfort, colic, constipation, flatulence, and to aid digestion.

It can also help improve memory and cognitive function, maintaining brain health. It can also protect the health of the gallbladder, combat intestinal parasites and relieve haemorrhoids. It has mental benefits, relieving depression and contributing to a general state of well-being. It can also be used for menstrual problems, such as amenorrhea. It is an adjuvant in cases of severe anaemia, supporting energy levels and reducing fatigue. It is also recommended for anorexia, skin diseases, certain allergic conditions, kidney problems, colds and flu, fever, morning sickness, migraines, rheumatism, gout, heart disease and pancreatic diseases.

It can also be used externally in the form of compresses for thrombophlebitis, insect bites, dislocations or sprains.

It is recommended to take 1 teaspoon of Swedish bitters twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, diluted in a little liquid. Caution: as the product contains alcohol, it is important to take this into account if there are any contraindications related to alcohol consumption. People who cannot consume alcohol should avoid taking this product.

Swedish bitters usually contain alcohol. As such, it is contraindicated for those who cannot consume alcohol for medical or personal reasons. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should also avoid taking this product without consulting a doctor.

It may not be suitable for certain conditions such as liver or kidney disease, epilepsy or low blood pressure. Do not use if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
