PRINCIPLE

The method uses a combination of a conjugate (monoclonal antibody - dye) and a polyclonal antibody bound to a solid phase to identify hemoglobin in the test sample with high sensitivity and specificity. zorka floats along the membrane, while the labeled conjugate forms an antigen-antibody complex with the hemoglobin antigen (if present in the sample). This complex binds to the antibody located in the T-positive reaction zone and forms a dark red line. If there is no antibody in the complex, no colored line will form in window T. The reaction mixture flows further into the control zone C. The unreacted conjugate binds in the control zone, where it forms a dark red line, demonstrating that the test was performed correctly.
