Details:
DracoFoam haft sensitive is a sterile, hydrophilic polyurethane foam dressing for covering acute and chronic wounds, absorbing and retaining wound exudate, and maintaining a moist wound environment. The flexible polyurethane foam conforms to the wound bed during application and has a high exudate absorption capacity. This excellent exudate management allows for extended wear and reduces the risk of wound maceration. Excess fluid is transported to the polyurethane membrane, where it can evaporate. The polyurethane film prevents exudate from escaping and provides a barrier against external pathogens. The sensitive silicone technology allows for repositioning of the dressing to achieve a wrinkle-free application and is suitable for use on fragile skin. This enhances the dressing's tolerability. Atraumatic dressing changes prevent pain and re-traumatization of the wound. DracoFoam haft sensitive is suitable for wounds with high exudate levels, such as superficial and deep acute and chronic wounds like leg ulcers (venous, arterial), pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, split-thickness skin graft donor sites, postoperative wounds, and second-degree burns. The dressing is water-repellent, provides reliable protection for clothing, is germ-proof, and offers high breathability with high elasticity. DracoFoam haft sensitive can remain on the wound for up to 7 days under medical supervision.
