Gauze swabs are used as wound dressings, for example to cover minor injuries or as a dressing in wound care. They are made of cotton and can be used wherever a clean, sterile dressing is needed on the skin or wound.

Instructions for use

Before use, the affected area should be carefully prepared and treated according to the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist. Then, the sterile gauze swab is placed directly onto the affected area as a dressing. To maintain sterility, open the swab only immediately before use and touch it only at the edges.

Important instructions
