Vidisan Allergy with Ectoin, 10ml
Description
ACTION AND DESCRIPTION
Eye drops for the treatment and prevention of the symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis.
COMPOSITION
2% ectoine, sodium chloride, hyaluronic acid and water.
STORAGE AND EXPIRATION
Do not use after the expiration date.
It should be stored between 2°C and 25°C.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Unless otherwise directed by your specialist, apply 1-2 drops in each eye several times a day.
Children under ten years of age will need help applying Vidisan Allergy with Ectoin.
1. Holding the blister by the label, separate a single-dose unit from the strip.
2. Twist the top of the single-dose unit.
3. Tilt your head back and gently pull down your lower eyelid with a finger of your free hand. Holding the single-dose unit as vertically as possible over your eye with the nozzle pointing downward, gently squeeze the single-dose unit to apply one drop to your eye.
4. Close your eye and move it from side to side. Then blink so that the drop is evenly distributed over the entire surface of your eye.
5. Repeat this procedure on the other eye.
6. Take care that the tip of the single-dose unit does not come into contact with the eye or fingers, to prevent contamination of the solution.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
It should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to ectoine, hyaluronic acid or any of the other ingredients of the eye drops.
If indicated by your specialist, it can be used after eye surgery or trauma.
If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately.
After using a single-dose, discard any remaining liquid; it should not be reused.
Keep out of reach of children.
It can be used with contact lenses (soft and rigid). There is no interaction between Vidisan Allergy with Ectoin and contact lenses.
Do not use a damaged or broken single-dose.
There are currently no data on the use of Vidisan Allergy with Ectoin during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product if:
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
- you are not sure whether you could be pregnant or not
It is well tolerated. No side effects have been reported so far. In some cases, it may cause temporary eye irritation, ocular hyperemia, or conjunctivitis. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you notice side effects related to the use of Vidisan Allergy with Ectoin. If these effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
