ACTION AND DESCRIPTION

It is an artificial tear that contains povidone, a compound that increases water retention time on the ocular surface and slows its evaporation; actinoquinol, a UV radiation filter; and cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12), which has a synergistic effect with actinoquinol.

Thanks to its composition, it provides relief from occasional dry eyes and a protective effect against UV radiation. Furthermore, thanks to its moisturizing and lubricating properties, it promotes the healing process by helping to accelerate the physiological process of corneal re-epithelialization.

Due to its moisturizing and UV-protecting properties and its contribution to corneal re-epithelialization, it is indicated for people with dry eyes and increased sensitivity to UV radiation (as a result of conditions such as actinic keratoconjunctivitis, photophobia, pinguecula, pterygium, etc.), patients with corneal pathologies, or those undergoing ophthalmic surgery.

It has a reddish color due to the presence of cyanocobalamin, but it does not stain contact lenses and any residual color disappears with tears.

If your clothing is accidentally stained, wash the garment with water and neutral soap.

COMPOSITION

Povidone 1.5%, actinoquinol, cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12), disodium edetate, tris (hydroxymethyl)-aminomethane hydrochloride, tris (hydroxymethyl)-aminomethane, sodium chloride and purified water.

STORAGE AND EXPIRATION

Do not use after the expiration date shown on the carton. Discard the product 3 months after opening the foil pouch. Keep vials protected from light and in the carton. Do not freeze.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

It is recommended to apply 1 or 2 drops when necessary to protect and moisten ocular tissues and restore the insufficient tear film, especially in patients who have recently undergone eye surgery or suffer from photosensitivity.

Avoid contact of the container with the eye or any other surface to prevent contamination.

Apply the product with clean hands. The same vial can be used for both eyes, as long as there is no contact with the ocular surface of the first eye before applying the drops to the second eye, to avoid cross-contamination.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

Keep out of reach of children.

After applying, blink gently a couple of times to ensure even distribution of the drops over the eye surface. For people with difficulty handling, or for elderly people, it is recommended that you seek assistance in applying the product correctly.

It is compatible with contact lenses. Do not use if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. Before use, check that the packaging is undamaged. If damaged, do not use the product. Do not administer simultaneously with other eye drops.

There are no data available on the use of this product in children, pregnant women, or breastfeeding women. In these cases, consult a healthcare professional before using this product.

This is a single-use product. It does not contain preservatives. Once the vial is opened, there is a risk of product contamination. Reusing the contaminated product could cause eye infection. Discard the vial after use.
