Halova

Halova is available in the form of vaginal ovules, packaged in boxes containing 10 units distributed in two blisters of five ovules each. The ovules are intended exclusively for intravaginal administration.

Halova ovules with hyaluronic acid are formulated to melt evenly on the mucosa, acting locally by forming a protective film with a soothing, moisturizing, and re-epithelializing effect.

Halova ovules are recommended for the relief and prevention of symptoms associated with:

• Vaginal dryness of physiological origin (menopause, premenopause);
• Imbalances in the vaginal flora (dysbiosis);
• Dyspareunia (pain during sexual intercourse) and dysuria (discomfort when urinating);
• Dryness induced by hormonal treatments, such as oral contraceptives;
• Non-infectious vulvovaginitis or irritation due to other causes;
• Vaginal pH disorders and changes in endometrial trophicity.

The standard method of administration involves inserting one ovule per day, preferably in the evening, for 10 consecutive days. It is recommended to start treatment immediately after the end of menstruation.

To prevent vaginal infections caused by factors such as excessive hygiene or environmental influences, daily administration is recommended for 10 consecutive days, in two annual courses.

During premenopause and menopause, one ovule should be administered daily in the evening for 10 days. The therapeutic effect may persist for 1–2 months, and treatment may need to be repeated depending on individual estrogen levels.

Halova Perfect Care ovules should not be used by people who are hypersensitive to any of the product's ingredients.

The use of Halova ovules during pregnancy is not recommended due to insufficient clinical data on safety. However, Halova can be used during breastfeeding, as there are no significant restrictions in this regard.

For increased effectiveness and to avoid contamination, it is essential that the intimate area and hands are thoroughly cleaned before applying the ovule. The ovules should be inserted deep into the vagina while lying down, in the evening before bedtime, to facilitate optimal dissolution and even distribution of the active substances.

The ovules should not be divided or used if they appear altered, have traces of substance on the outside, or have damaged alveoli.

Halova ovule has a high safety profile due to its natural composition and formula adapted for local application. However, in rare cases, local reactions such as irritation, mild burning, or discomfort may occur, especially during the first few days of use. These symptoms are usually temporary and disappear with continued treatment. In case of severe allergic reactions, treatment should be discontinued and medical advice sought.

To date, no significant interactions between Halova and other drugs or medical devices for vaginal administration have been identified.

However, in the absence of specific studies, it is recommended that the patient consult her doctor before using Halova concomitantly with other vaginal treatments.

Due to local administration and the well-defined dose (one ovule per day), the risk of overdose is considered negligible. However, excessive or non-compliant use may lead to local irritation or imbalances in the vaginal flora. In case of accidental application of several ovules or oral ingestion, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

Halova should be stored in its original packaging, in a place away from moisture and direct light, at temperatures between 2°C and 25°C. The product should be kept out of the reach and sight of children. Ovules should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste.
