Description
Methylsulfonylmethane* (MSM) is an organic sulfur compound. Sulfur is easily broken down during cooking and food preparation.
Sulfur is present in keratins, proteins essential for the formation of nails and hair. It is also physiologically present in joints, as part of chondroitin sulfate, a valuable component of cartilage. MSM also helps maintain levels of reduced glutathione (GSH), a substance naturally produced by our body for antioxidant and detoxifying purposes, and also promotes the elimination of heavy metals from the body.
