Taurine is an amino acid derivative naturally present in the human body. Recognized as a powerful antioxidant and protector of cell membranes, it regulates the electrical activity of the brain and muscles (including the heart), ensuring their contractility*. It promotes the production of energy from fat, the main fuel of muscles during long-lasting efforts, to minimize the onset of cramps and muscle soreness. Taurine also helps control nervous tremors caused by fatigue and regenerate muscle tone more quickly.

Taurine must be taken in the diet to compensate for the body's limited synthesis capacity. An additional intake is particularly important in stressful situations, such as prolonged physical exertion, as both needs and losses increase.
