Astaxanthin, a xanthophyll pigment of the algae Haematococcus Pluvialis, gives its characteristic color to salmon, shrimp and krill, among others. One of the most interesting phenomena in the world of fauna and flora is the salmon migration. These fish are excellent at accumulating astaxanthin in their muscles, and this probably explains their incredible strength in traveling upstream distances of hundreds and thousands of kilometers.

Haematococcus Pluvialis algae are the main food of krill, so it can be said that the astaxanthin contained in them plus the astaxanthin found in Bioastin enhance the effect of omega-3 acids in the dietary supplement "Neptune Krill Oil" (NKO - Krill Oil). More scientific research is needed to explain the mechanism of action of astaxanthin - but today you can use its unique properties without any worries, as evidenced by the huge number of positive articles in the world's leading press, including the Times, Newsweek and Sports Illustrated, as well as in many scientific publications.

Method of use: 1 capsule 3 times a day, during the meal
