Ketone test strips
The strips contain a biosensor and use the enzyme HBDH (hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase), specifically designed to measure blood ketone levels from 0.1 to 8.0 mmol/L. When blood comes into contact with the test tip, capillary action draws the blood to the reaction zone; the enzyme then reacts with the ketone and produces an electrical signal. This signal can be measured.How to use
