Properties:
- rapid tests for measuring the level of ketone bodies in urine (ketonuria);
- a convenient and extremely useful way to monitor blood sugar imbalance in diabetes and the body fat burning process in weight loss diets;
- ketone bodies, resulting from the burning of fatty acids, are the soluble metabolic fuel, which has the ability to penetrate the cell, including the neuron by crossing the blood-brain barrier, being used as a source of intracellular energy, without the presence of insulin;
- when cells do not receive the necessary amount of glucose, fats are used as an energy source;
- thus the formation of acetic acid, β-hydroxybutyric acid and acetone occurs in the mitochondria of liver cells;
- the ketone index tells us how many times higher the lipids are than the total proteins and carbohydrates in a food or meal;
- in the state of nutritional ketosis, the metabolic changes present in fasting are reproduced;
- to maintain this state, it is necessary to regulate glucose levels, so as to obtain the same beneficial effects of healing and physiological regeneration as in fasting;

Administration
1. Remove a test strip from the container and immediately replace the cap (the strips must be protected from moisture).
2. Test from the first and second urine of the day.
3. While holding the test strip by the end opposite the reagent portion, insert it into the urine sample or the center of the urine stream and remove it immediately.
4. Shake off excess liquid.
5. While holding the test strip vertically, bring the color chart on the box, bottle, or leaflet close to it.
6. Compare the result with the table. Read the result carefully within 40 seconds in a well-lit area, holding the test strip and the color chart close together.
7. Match the color of the strip to the chart and note the result.
8. The colors that appear after 60 seconds are no longer relevant. Ignore them.
9. Discard used test strips.
