Designation: Bandage with crescent moon silicone insert and removable whalebone for the wrist.

Directions:

• osteoarthritis or wrist arthritis triggered by trauma after moderately severe to severe sprains (sprain)
• hand tendinitis, tendovaginitis (wrist tendonitis)
• in case of instability and functional overload of the wrist
• Treatment following wrist fractures, operations or the application of a cast.
• stage I algoneurodystrophy (SRDC)

Properties: Velpeau Manus is a knitted bandage adapted to the anatomy of the wrist, with a crescent-shaped silicone insert, a removable whalebone and a circular stabilization band. Whale bone can be adapted as needed by a specialist. The circular stabilization strap cut and silicone pad surround the apophysis (ulnar styloid) on the outside of the forearm, protecting against too high compression pressure.
