Description
Folic acid dietary supplement. For women of childbearing age planning a pregnancy, folic acid supplementation is useful for increasing maternal folate levels, which, if low, is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus*. It also contributes to maternal tissue growth. More generally, folic acid plays a role in the process of cell division, helps strengthen the immune system, reduces tiredness and fatigue, and maintains normal psychological function. It also plays a role in amino acid synthesis, homocysteine ​​metabolism, and hematopoiesis, i.e., the formation and maturation of all blood cells.
*Beneficial effect can be obtained with a daily intake of 400 mcg of folic acid, starting at least one month before and up to three months after conception.

How to use
It is recommended to take 2 drops (0.116 ml) once a day at any time. Apply the drops to the tongue and wait about 1 minute before swallowing.
