Sterile gel in a syringe, transparent, with a viscous consistency. Hydrosorb gel softens necrotic tissue, facilitates the removal of dead tissue (necrosis) and embeds in the gel mass the exudate and residues from the wound. It can be removed by rinsing with Ringer's solution or another sterile solution without destroying the newly formed tissue and without affecting the wound bed.

Directions
Deep non-infected wounds, acute or chronic, with reduced secretions
Detersion (softening) of necrotic tissue
Superficial burns (up to degree 2A) in areas difficult to dress (e.g. face, fingers)
