Diarrhea is accompanied by a loss of water and mineral salts which can lead to dehydration.
Adiaril provides the water and mineral salts necessary to compensate for these losses until the diarrhea ceases.

Adiaril is intended for oral use to compensate for losses of water (rehydration) and electrolytes following acute childhood diarrhea and gastroenteritis.
The amount to be administered is established by the doctor based on the child's water needs as soon as diarrhea or signs of dehydration appear. In the first few hours it must be administered as much as the child wishes, presenting the bottle at regular intervals, initially every 5-10 minutes, then every 15-30 minutes.
The quantity to be administered will then be at least 10 ml/kg after each liquid stool, for a maximum total quantity of 200 ml/kg per day of reconstituted solution. In case of vomiting, the oral rehydration solution should be administered regularly in teaspoons (1 teaspoon every 1-2 minutes).

Adiaril is an oral rehydration solution for temporary use; Unless you seek medical advice, it is not advisable to leave the child on an exclusive hydromineral diet for more than 4 hours.
