Comfort Shield

Comfort Shield is available as an ophthalmic solution, formulated in two convenient versions to suit the individual needs of users.

• 10 ml bottle of ophthalmic solution;
• Single 0.3 ml doses (15 doses in one pack), ideal for individual use and easy transportation.

Comfort Shield is recommended in the following situations:

• Keratoconjunctivitis sicca (including Sjögren's syndrome);
• Corneal injury or corneal surgery;
• Hormonal disorders, including those associated with menopause;
• Exposure to harmful environmental factors such as air conditioning, wind, cold, dry heat, smoke or pollution;
• Eye-intensive activities such as working on a computer, driving, or flying long distances;
• Swimming in chlorine-treated water, which can irritate and dry the eyes.

The product is suitable for people with very dry eyes due to its intensely moisturizing properties.

The dosing regimen for Comfort Shield artificial tears is simple and adaptable to individual needs.

For the 10 ml bottle, remove the safety band, apply one drop to each eye or contact lens, then gently massage the eyelid with the eye closed to distribute the solution evenly.

When using single doses of 0.3 ml, detach one dose, twist the cap off, apply one drop to the eye and massage the eyelid.

The product may be administered as needed or as advised by your doctor.

Comfort Shield should not be used in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product.

Simultaneous use with other ophthalmic medicinal products should be in consultation with your doctor.

The product contains no preservatives and is suitable for frequent and long-term use without risk of additional irritation.

Important! Caution is advised to avoid contamination of the solution. The bottle or single doses should be used under hygienic conditions.

Side effects associated with the use of Comfort Shield are rare but may include transient ocular irritation immediately after administration or minor allergic reactions in users with known hypersensitivity.

If persistent symptoms develop, use should be discontinued and the patient should seek medical advice.

No significant interactions have been reported between Comfort Shield and other medicines or foods.

Comfort Shield may be used concomitantly with other ophthalmic products, but an interval of at least 10 minutes between administrations is recommended.

There are no major risks associated with accidental overdose, but overdosage may result in temporary discomfort such as blurred vision. In such cases it is necessary to rinse the eyes with sterile water.

It is recommended to use Comfort Shield only as needed, as directed, to avoid possible unpleasant manifestations.

Store Comfort Shield at temperatures between 15-25°C, away from direct light and moisture. Observe the shelf life indicated on the packaging and store the product out of reach of children.
