Spelled wheat (Triticum spelta) is an ancient wheat species with origins in the Middle East and Central Europe.
Spelled is one of the oldest plants cultivated by humans, dating back over 8,000 years. It was one of the most common cereals used in Europe before the advent of modern wheat, after the common wheat.
Spelled is a rich source of essential nutrients, including protein, fiber, vitamins (such as vitamin B-complex, vitamin E) and minerals (such as magnesium, iron, phosphorus, zinc).

How to use:
Spelled can be used in the same ways as other types of wheat, including for the manufacture of bread, cakes, pasta and other bakery and pastry products.
