Akneroxid ^® 10 100 mg/g is a drug in the form of an anti- acne gel for topical use on the skin . The active substance of the preparation is benzoyl peroxide at a concentration of 10%.

How does Akneroxid ^® 10 work?

Akneroxid ^® 10 contains benzoyl peroxide, which, when applied to the skin, has an antibacterial effect, mainly against bacteria of the genus Propionibacterium acnes , which are responsible for the development of acne vulgaris. It also has anti-seborrheic properties , reducing excessive sebum production by the sebaceous glands, which reduces the oiliness of the skin. In addition, benzoyl peroxide supports the process of exfoliation of the epidermis , thus helping to cleanse pores and reduce skin lesions associated with acne.

The Akneroxid ^® 10 100 mg/g package contains 50 g of white gel.
