Composition:
Ceramides have nourishing and protective properties. They are part of the essential fatty matter and protect the skin (it represents 50% of the lipids at the level of the skin barrier). Ceramides restore the integrity of the intercorneocyte cement, fill the space between the keratinocytes of the epidermis and form a protective layer against transepidermal water loss.
Pro-collagen peptides have an anti-aging action by stimulating the synthesis of collagen and elastin, with a barrier role, strengthening the epidermis-dermis junction.
Escin is a mixture of triterpenic saponins found in the species Aesculus hippocastanum (pig chestnut) having anti-inflammatory properties (inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins), vasoconstrictors and vasoprotectors (promotes circulation), inducing a toning, astringent, anti-edematous, antioxidant and regenerative action at the cellular level. It inhibits hyaluronidase, the enzyme responsible for the degradation of hyaluronic acid in the skin, resulting in an increase in the hydration level of the skin.
Vitamin B3 stimulates collagen synthesis and strengthens the barrier function of the skin by stimulating certain enzymes involved in the production of skin tissue.
