Chicken-flavored nutritional supplement recommended for the prevention and treatment of cystitis and other urinary tract infections in dogs and cats.

Adhesion of bacteria to the bladder wall is the first step in the development of a urinary tract infection. Escherichia coli is the most incriminated pathogen in the development of these infections.

Composition:

• Probiotics - Enterococcus faecium (DSM 10663/NCIMB 10415) 4bE1707-1x 1011 CFU/kg; 1 x 108 CFU/g, beneficial bacteria that help repopulate the intestinal tract and prevent urinary tract infections due to the rise of pathogens from feces (E. Coli)

• Prebiotics - Mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) - a nutritional source for beneficial bacteria, but also prevent the adhesion of bacteria to the urinary mucosa

• Proanthocyanidins (PAC) 20mg from American bilberry - antioxidants with anti-adhesion effect on E. Coli
• N-acetyl D-glucosamine 125mg – helps restore the bladder wall

Method of administration: The capsule can be administered as is or it can be opened and sprinkled on food, as long as necessary.
