For almost 20 years, Savorial has been your ally in the fight against hairballs! This complementary food comes in the form of a paste that is palatable to ingest and helps prevent digestive problems related to the ingestion of hair. Furthermore, it prevents the formation of hairballs and facilitates their elimination. Its formula, based on malt, fish oil, petroleum jelly and vitamin E, was specially developed to promote the dog's intestinal transit. Its lubricating action on the digestive tract promotes the elimination of ingested hair and reduces the symptoms associated with hairballs: dry cough, vomiting and constipation.

Hairballs are a common occurrence in cats, especially during seasonal shedding periods (spring or fall). However, some cats are particularly prone to hairballs, such as long-haired cats (Persian, Maine Coon, Birman and British Longhair) and sedentary cats.

Hairballs sometimes cause digestive problems such as loss of appetite, regurgitation, vomiting or constipation. In more severe cases, these trichobezoars can lead to intestinal obstruction, resulting in complete cessation of transit: a true veterinary emergency!
