Description
Nivea Sun Kids Protect & Care Sunscreen Balm with SPF 50+ has been specially created for the needs of children's delicate skin.
What types of filters does the Nivea Sun Kids Protect & Care conditioner contain?
UV is an abbreviation of the English words: ultraviolet radiation, meaning ultraviolet radiation found in solar radiation. The cream formula contains 2 types of UV filters:
- UVA – this is the radiation with the longest wavelength. UVA rays penetrate the dermis and subcutaneous tissue and destroy them without causing the erythema or burning that is popular with sunburn. This radiation penetrates the glass and its intensity is independent of the season.
- UVB – is a high-energy radiation that penetrates the deep layers of the epidermis and the upper layer of the dermis. It stimulates melanocytes to produce melanin, which has protective functions of the skin, which causes erythema and tan as a protective reaction, and in the case of long-term exposure to the sun - burns of the skin.
The filter included in the product immediately protects against UVA/UVB solar radiation, sunburn and long-term skin damage. The formula additionally strengthens the skin's protective barrier, thus helping to reduce the risk of skin allergies.
The product is waterproof. The cosmetics contain almond oil, which prevents drying of the epidermis due to sunlight.
Take care of your child's skin with the Nivea Sun Kids Protect & Care balm!
