What properties does propolis have?
The therapeutic properties of propolis have been known since ancient times (for example, in ancient Egypt, by the priests who mastered medicine, chemistry and the art of mummification). in folk medicine it has been used for a long time as an adjuvant in various ailments. lately, scientific institutes have also been busy with determining the chemical composition of propolis and its therapeutic effects.

Propolis is a primary bee product with a complex composition, coming from the collection of tree buds and the processing by bees of some resinous, aromatic, plasticizing substances, to which are added glandular secretions, wax, etc.

Propolis represents a particularly valuable bioactive substance, with a biostimulatory and bioregulatory role, acting especially at the level of the hypothalamic nuclei.

The antimicrobial activity was analyzed on cultures of different microorganisms (streptococci, staphylococci, Salmonella, Proteus, bacilli, Saccharomyces cereus, Mycobacterium phlei, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Candida albicans, etc.). The sensitivity of 80 microorganisms was tested. If subjected to lyophilization, propolis preserves the antibiotic. Propolis has strong bactericidal and bacteriostatic effects.

How to use the product?
Internally: 30 drops 3 times/day, incorporated in honey or diluted in 50 ml of water or milk. The cure lasts 4-6 weeks.

External: compresses, topical applications; solution diluted in boiled and cooled water in a ratio of 1:5 for washing and gargling.

The product is a food supplement and should not replace a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Do not exceed the recommended dose for daily consumption.

Contraindicated for small children, pregnant or breastfeeding women, people who are forbidden/limited to drink alcohol or who have an allergy/hypersensitivity to propolis/bee products.

For children over 7 years of age, propolis tincture is administered 1 drop/kg of body per day.
