PPurina PPVD Canine - UR Urinary is a highly palatable complete veterinary diet food for nutritional support in the dissolution and/or prevention of urinary struvite stones in dogs. Canine UR Urinary is developed to support the production of acidic urine, which helps dissolve and prevent struvite stones from forming again. The feed has a moderate protein content to reduce substrate availability for urea-producing bacteria commonly associated with urinary stones. Canine UR Urinary contains omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants to help maintain a healthy urinary tract. Diet food is very tasty, which is essential for dogs that have to follow a special diet for a long time. Canine UR Urinary is not intended for dogs taking urine acidifiers. It is recommended to seek the opinion of a veterinarian before use or before prolonged use.

Dosage

Dogs weighing more than 70 kg: For every 5 kg of extra body weight, increase the feeding dose by 30 g of pelleted food. The recommended duration of administration is initially up to 6 months in chronic renal failure, up to 6 months to reduce urinary stone formation, lifelong in irreversible disorders of uric acid metabolism and initially up to 1 year to reduce stone formation of cystine. Water must always be available. The product is also available in canned form.

Maize, wheat flour, dried poultry protein, rice, pork fat, maize protein meal, flavoring meat extracts, dried beet pulp, dried eggs, minerals, fish oil. Acidifying agents: calcium sulfate, phosphoric acid.
