An exceptional cosmetic ingredient intended for skin care with problems: acne, psoriasis, eczema or for improving the general condition of the muscles. Due to the particular content of minerals from the marine source, especially magnesium, potassium and calcium, Dead Sea salt improves skin hydration by strengthening the skin's barrier function. Minerals act as "natural hydration factors" and help maintain the skin's water balance.

It has a larger grain than table salt and has an intense marine smell.

A special salt with surprising properties on the skin:

It seems surprising to hear about a salt that is moisturizing and that it protects our skin from drying out. But Dead Sea salt is not ordinary salt (like table salt that only contains sodium chloride), but a unique blend of several minerals in the world, all of which have skin care and moisturizing properties.

Considering these, its correct name would be that of "salts" from the Dead Sea. It is a salt for cosmetic use only, it cannot be used in the kitchen (in addition, the taste would not make this possible).

From a chemical point of view, unlike ordinary salt, the Dead Sea salt from the Sanflora store contains very little sodium chloride (about 5%), but is very rich in magnesium chloride (over 32%), potassium chloride ( 29%) and bromine (ca. 4374 ppm). In addition, it also contains calcium chloride (0.3%) and sulfates 0.9%. This wealth of valuable minerals for the skin makes it of special value for its natural care.

Magnesium:
has an anti-inflammatory effect on the skin; magnesium ions cause the reduction of markers that generate inflammation
has a keratolytic effect (removes dead cells)
contributes to the creation of new epithelial cells, having a regenerating effect on the epidermis

Potassium:
prevents transepidermal water loss
contributes to maintaining an optimal level of hydration of the epidermis

It is important to know that minerals (especially magnesium and potassium) have the ability to restore skin hydration by improving the skin's intracellular water retention, given their hygroscopic (water-attracting) characteristics. Therefore, when absorbed into the skin, they can improve the skin's natural moisturizing factor.

How to use Dead Sea salt?

Through general or partial baths, in a concentration of up to 5%. The bathroom can be general or partial. The baths have a soothing effect on the skin, are keratolytic and stimulate the metabolism of skin cells.

Applications with Dead Sea salt solutions (10%) for a keratolytic and anti-inflammatory effect.

In what situations is Dead Sea salt indicated?

as a muscle relaxant and anti-inflammatory
in the case of acne-prone skin, applications with a 10% - 20% solution of Dead Sea salt lead to the removal of dead cells, unclogging of pores and fluidity of sebum elimination, thus preventing the inflammation associated with acne
in case of eczema or other skin inflammations, to reduce the inflammation and restore the skin
in case of edema, water retention or / and cellulitis (it is drainage of lymph and excess fluids)

Dosage:

5% in the case of baths (100 g per 20 l of warm water)

10% - 20% in solution for local applications (10g salt to 90g water or 20g salt to 80g water)
