PHARMACOTHERAPEUTIC CATEGORY:
Decongestant and antiallergic.

DIRECTIONS:
For the symptomatic treatment of episodes of irritation and congestion of the conjunctiva.

CONTRAINDICATIONS/SIDE EFFECTS:
Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.
Angle-closure glaucoma.
This product contains boric acid and should not be given to children under 3 years of age.
Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and in children under 12 years of age.
In subjects suffering from glaucoma, other eye diseases or with lesions caused by mechanical, chemical, physical (heat) agents or, in any case, when there are characteristics (such as, for example, ocular discharge or sensation of a foreign body) other than the normal mild disturbance easily recognisable by the subject (simple redness of the eyes), the product must be used only upon medical prescription.
In general, contact lenses (especially hydrophilic, soft ones) should not be worn during treatment with any ocular medicines.

DOSAGE:
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac, 2-3 times a day.
Do not use for more than 3-4 days unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor.

INTERACTIONS:
Due to the possible systemic absorption of the medicine, interactions with other drugs cannot be ruled out; in particular, subjects undergoing therapy with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) may use the medicine only after consulting their doctor.

SIDE EFFECTS:
The most commonly reported side effects are: blurred vision, conjunctival irritation, burning eye, mydriasis (dilation of the pupil). Occasionally: nausea, headache, hypertension, weakness, sweating, dizziness, palpitations, tremors, insomnia, increased intraocular pressure.
