Suprasorb F is a transparent film dressing on a roll, specially developed for the prevention of pressure ulcers and for fixation in wound care. The dressing can be cut to the desired size and is therefore suitable for various parts of the body. Thanks to its film structure, the dressing lies like a protective second skin over the area being treated. Suprasorb F is manufactured by Kohlpharma GLYPHmbH.

Areas of application

The film dressing is used to prevent pressure sores such as decubitus ulcers. It also serves as a fixation aid in wound care, for example, to securely fasten existing wound dressings or other dressing materials. It ensures reliable coverage of the skin area to be protected.

Application and handling

Cut the required length from the 10 cm wide roll. Remove the backing materials according to the instructions and apply the film dressing to clean, dry skin without tension. Ensure the dressing lies completely flat and smoothly to guarantee good fixation. The dressing can be cut and positioned to optimally adapt to the affected area of ​​the body.

The Suprasorb F rolled film dressing consists of:

• Film: Polyurethane film coated with a polyacrylate adhesive
• Support film: Polyester, coated on both sides with polyethylene and siliconized on one side
• Cover paper: silicone paper
• Adhesive strips: Polyester film and polyacrylate adhesive
• Peel-off aid: white bleached silicone paper, printed green L&R in a scatter print under the silicone coating.
