Description
Swanson ® R-Fraction Alpha Lipoic Acid is a dietary supplement containing alpha-lipoic acid. Each capsule contains 100 mg of R-ALA to supplement the daily diet of adults.
What is alpha lipoic acid R-ALA?
Lipoic acid is an organic chemical compound from the group of carboxylic acids. It has a chain of eight carbon atoms with two sulfur atoms. R-ALA is classified as a saturated fatty acid. Gelatin-coated capsules contain R-ALA Bio- Enhanced® , i.e. sodium R-alpha lipoic acid (Na-RALA).
The recommended daily dose of R-ALA Double Strength is 1 capsule, and a 60-pack will provide two months of daily supplementation.
