The double hydrating action of Monasens makes it a third generation lubricating gel.

Lubricating gels can be divided into three categories:

• The first generation of lubricants, such as oil and petroleum jelly, which are incompatible with condoms and have a very different consistency than natural lubrication.
• The second generation of inert, water-based lubricants.
  They are effective for lubrication and are compatible with condoms. However, their effect ceases very quickly - they dry out.
• The third generation of lubricants represented by Monasens.
  These are water-based lubricants with a double hydrating action.
  They provide long-term lubrication because they activate natural lubrication.

Patients gain greater freedom, especially during sexual intercourse.
