Properties:
TMG 500 mg from Zenyth is a dietary supplement with trimethylglycine or betaine from beets. Betaine is essential for optimal liver function, detoxification, proper nerve, brain, muscle activity, maintaining energy levels and more. The most studied benefit of trimethylglycine or betaine is supporting the conversion of the amino acid homocysteine in the blood to methionine. High levels of homocysteine can pose a danger to the health of blood vessels and can contribute to the appearance of atheromatous plaque.
Ingredients:
- Sugar beet root extract (Beta vulgaris), with min. 99% trimethylglycine (betaine) – 500 mg; bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose; vegetable capsules: hypromellose.
Method of administration:
Usual doses (adults): 1-3 capsules per day, during meals, with 200 ml of water, or as recommended by a specialist.
A 30-minute break is recommended between the administration of trimethylglycine/betaine and amino acid mixtures and/or medications. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily consumption of 1500 mg of trimethylglycine/betaine, according to EU Regulation 432/2012.
Precautions:
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women, children (over 10 years old) and people with acute conditions or complex medication should seek specialist advice before use.
- Daily consumption exceeding 4 g of trimethylglycine/betaine may cause a significant increase in blood cholesterol levels.
- In case of overdose, sensitive people may experience gastrointestinal disorders (diarrhea, nausea, stomach discomfort, vomiting).
- Product not recommended for people allergic to the product components. No side effects have been reported at the recommended doses.
