Temperature measurement methods: The classic medical thermometer without mercury EASYCARE, must be positioned correctly to ensure an accurate reading of the temperature. IMPORTANT: Do not consume hot or cold drinks, do not perform physical exercises, do not take baths or showers and do not smoke 15 minutes before the temperature measurement. Having a hygienic glass tube, it allows 3 methods of temperature measurement: Rectal use (measurement time approximately 4 minutes): This method is the most accurate from a medical point of view, because it comes closest to the internal temperature of the body. The tip of the thermometer is carefully inserted into the rectum, over a length of max. 2cm. Axillary use (measurement time approximately 4 minutes): By placing the thermometer in the armpit, a surface temperature measurement is obtained that can vary by approximately 0.5 - 1.5⁰C compared to rectal temperature readings in adults.
