The new Elmex Opti-email Whitening range strengthens the resistance of the enamel to the erosive attacks of acids. Enamel loses minerals in case of frequent acid attacks. Over time, the outer layer of the tooth surface is eroded and irremediably lost.
Elmex® Micro Protection technology, containing tin chloride, chitosan (only in toothpaste) and amine fluoride, forms a tin-rich protective layer that helps protect the surface of the teeth from acid attack. The composition also contains silica, an active ingredient that cleans the teeth and has a slightly abrasive action that helps reduce stains on the teeth and restore their natural whiteness.
