Eficaf

Eficaf is available in syrup form for easy administration. This is a suitable form for children and adults, offering rapid absorption and an immediate soothing effect on the airways.

There is also Eficaf capsules, which combine a complex of extracts and powders from 18 plants with a synergistic anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic action. The ingredients in Eficaf F capsules help support the immune system and protect the respiratory system. 

The ingredients in Eficaf are known for their antiviral, bactericidal and immunomodulatory properties. Eficaf is particularly recommended for respiratory conditions such as:

• Dry or productive cough
• Colds and flu
• Bronchitis and other airway inflammations
• Sore throat and persistent cough
• Support the immune system, especially in the cold season

Eficaf syrup helps to rapidly relieve symptoms of airway inflammation such as sore throat, nasal congestion, hoarseness, sneezing and dry coughs, thanks to the antiseptic properties of Tolu Balm. 

In productive coughs, Eficaf helps to thin and clear accumulated mucus, making expectoration easier. 

The dosing regimen depends on age and severity of the conditions.

For adults and children over 5 years of age 30-45 ml, for children between 2-5 years of age 15-30 ml, for children between 1-2 years of age 5-15 ml, and for infants up to 1 year of age 1 ml 6 times a day.

The duration of treatment varies depending on the severity of the condition and the body's response to treatment, but continuous administration is recommended until symptoms disappear.

Eficaf syrup is contraindicated in people with known allergies to any of its ingredients.

It is also not recommended for people suffering from severe high blood pressure because of the licorice content, which can increase blood pressure. 

Caution is advised if you have severe kidney, heart or liver disease or hormone-dependent conditions.

Eficaf syrup contains sugar-based peppermint syrup, which is why it is not recommended for people with diabetes.

Eficaf can be used as part of a holistic treatment for respiratory conditions. It is indicated for use in combination with proper hydration and avoidance of irritants such as cigarette smoke. 

Eficaf syrup can be used on its own or diluted in half a cup of hot tea or water. Small, frequent doses are recommended for maximum effectiveness.

Like any herbal product, Eficaf can cause minor side effects, although these are rare. Possible side effects include:

• Mild gastrointestinal irritation
• Allergic reactions such as rash or itching

Licorice in the composition of Eficaf can interact with drugs that regulate blood pressure, diuretics, corticosteroids, antidiabetics, anticoagulants, digoxin.

It is advisable to consult a doctor before using Eficaf syrup if you are on medication, especially for chronic conditions.

Overdose with Eficaf syrup is rare but can cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. 

Important! In case of prolonged intake or excessive consumption of licorice, electrolyte imbalances and increased blood pressure may occur.

In cases of excessive intake, it is recommended to consult a doctor immediately and to discontinue administration.

Eficaf syrup should be stored in a cool place away from direct light. It should be stored at temperatures below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep out of the reach of children.
