Atrauman Silicone is a wound contact layer consisting of a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) mesh as a carrier material, coated on both sides with silicone gel (based on polydimethylsiloxane). This wound contact layer is designed for atraumatic wound treatment and is thin, soft, cuttable, and drapeable. Its open mesh structure allows exudate to pass through. It adheres gently and securely to dry surfaces, but not to moist ones, thus preventing it from sticking to the wound.

- It is used as a protective layer on non-exuding wounds and on areas with sensitive skin.
