Bacillus subtilis – briefly explained

The enzyme nattokinase – as well as vitamin K2 – is abundant in the traditional Japanese specialty natto.

The bacterial strain Bacillus subtilis natto produces the enzyme nattokinase during the fermentation of soybeans. This enzyme is produced by bacteria to improve the digestion of the proteins contained in soy. The nattokinase contained in Bacillus subtilis plus is particularly distinguished by its high enzyme activity.
