Wash your hands before applying the patch.
Make sure there are no traces of cream on the affected area and that the skin is dry, so that the patch adheres properly.
Open the protective packaging and remove the patch, lifting the patches from the backing, as indicated in the image.
Place half of the patch on the affected area and release the other half, securing the patch completely over the cold sore.
Wear the patch until it falls off on its own.
