Wound closure strips are a well-established product in the field of wound closure. The specially knitted material reduces the risk of skin maceration and allows moisture to pass through. The interwoven polyamide threads guarantee the exceptional elasticity of Leukoplast wound closure strips. This intelligent structure adapts to the different stages of wound healing. The strong yet skin-friendly adhesive ensures rapid and secure adaptation of the wound edges. Rounded corners prevent the material from rolling up and ensure long-lasting adhesion to the skin. Early removal of sutures or staples using Leukoplast wound closure strips can improve the cosmetic scar appearance. Leukoplast wound closure strips are made of either white or beige microporous polyamide fabric coated with an acrylic polymer adhesive.

Areas of application:

• for atraumatic skin closure of small wounds and incisions

Duration of use:
It can usually be removed after 5 to 7 days.
