MEDIPORE+Pad sterile wound dressing 10 x 10 cm

MEDIPORE+Pad is a sterile wound dressing from Solventum Germany GmbH for covering wounds. The dressing combines an absorbent wound pad with a flexible cover and serves to protect the wound from external influences. Due to its materials, it is designed for single use and supports hygienic wound care.

Scope and benefits

This wound dressing is designed for the sterile care of wounds. It can be used to cover the wound area and protect it from dirt and contact. The integrated absorbent pad absorbs wound exudate, thus contributing to a clean wound area. The 10 x 10 cm size is particularly suitable for medium-sized wounds, provided they are treated correctly.

Application

Clean and prepare the wound according to the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist. Open the sterile packaging only immediately before use. Remove the protective layer from the silicone-coated paper backing and place the absorbent side of the dressing onto the wound. Press the dressing down gently so that it lies completely and smoothly against the skin. Change the dressing according to the recommendations of your doctor or pharmacist, or when the dressing becomes visibly damp.

Warning notices

Use the dressing only on intact, unbroken skin around the edge of the wound. Do not use the product if the sterile packaging is damaged or has already been opened. The dressing is for single use only and must not be reused. If you experience any signs of intolerance, unusual skin reactions, or a worsening of the wound condition, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
