Description
OstroVit ® MCT Oil is a food supplement in liquid form of oil that is a source of medium chain triglycerides. Triglycerides are fat molecules (lipids) that accumulate in the body's cells. The saturated fatty acids contained in MCT oil, including caproic acid, caproic acid, capric acid, lauric acid, and myristic acid, can be a valuable addition to the diet, especially ketogenic and low-carb diets. The product is suitable for adults, including those with increased physical activity and those who practice professional sports.
Medium-chain triglycerides are a type of saturated fat consisting of fatty acids containing 6 to 10 carbon atoms. Their natural sources are mainly coconut oil, palm oil and milk fat. Fatty acids derived from MCT oil are distinguished by a much faster digestion process compared to other fatty acids. The OstroVit ® brand product uses MCT oil derived from the seeds of the oilseed tree, which is enclosed in a bisphenol A (BPA)-free PET plastic bottle.
