How to insert the Greta menstrual cup

Inserting a menstrual cup is as easy as inserting a tampon. Just like the first time you used a tampon, the same might happen with the cup... until you get used to it! The concept is always the same: fold the cup to reduce its size and insert it into your vagina. Once inside, stop applying pressure with your finger so it opens and creates a "seal," meaning it adapts perfectly to your body to prevent leaks. If it's properly positioned, you shouldn't even feel it. If you experience any discomfort, don't hesitate to remove it, clean it, and reinsert it until it's in place.

Use and maintenance of the Greta menstrual cup
You can wear the cup for up to 12 hours at a time. 12 hours worry-free!

To use it for the first time, boil the cup in a pot for 10-15 minutes or use a specialized sterilizing cup like Clín, in which case, boil it in the microwave (with 100-120ml of water) for 3-4 minutes. Store it in the included satin pouch and, before each period, boil it for 3-5 minutes to ensure it is thoroughly clean.

After use, empty the cup into the bathroom sink and clean it with water and mild soap. The last time you empty it because your period has ended, sterilize it again to ensure it's completely clean and store it back in the pouch until your next period.

And remember that, in case of infection, it is important to discontinue its use.
