PROLIVET is a complementary food for medium-sized dogs, which helps maintain liver function. Silibinin is the most abundant and active component of sili marine, an extract from the fruit of the milk thistle (Silybum maria num).

Silibinin neutralizes free radicals, thus protecting liver cells from oxidative damage. It also inhibits the adhesion of toxins, as well as the production of leukotrienes, which are involved in the inflammatory response.

Phosphatidylcholine, in turn, is the main precursor/metabolite of choline and the main constituent of lipoproteins in the bloodstream and cell membranes. It is also the main component of bile and plays a fundamental role in mitochondrial energy conversion and the elimination of waste products from cellular metabolism.
